One of the most unusual sound library records you'll ever hear – quite deep and experimental, and hardly the sort of set that any producer would think of using in a TV show! The scoring here is really complex – lots of avant string passages, put together beautifully by Patrice Sciortino – cellos dueling with violins, occasionally augmented by percussion or vibes, and even some slight wordless vocals – with a few surprisingly sweet moments amid the overall darkness of the set! The CD does a wonderful job of presenting this side of Sciortino's music – and features the full Chronoradial sound library LP, plus loads of rare cuts from the 60s.
