You Can't Sit Down is a killer from one of the most grooving acts on the Cameo/Parkway label! There's really something special to The Dovells at this point in their career – and a record like this shows why the group were crucial to the development of upbeat soul in the 60s – even though they might initially come across with the look of a more conventional pop act.
