Os Mutantes (1968)
CD (Item 530905) Polydor (Brazil), 1968 — Condition: Used
A landmark LP! This is the first – and the wildest – album by this legendary group that was one of the founding forces of the Tropicalia movement. The music is a wonderful blend of 60s rock and early MPB stuff, with crazy production and a great sense of humor that still keeps the whole thing fresh today. It's no wonder the kids are lapping this one up like mad! Caetano Veloso contributed a number of tracks to the album, including "Panis et Circenses", "Bat Macumba", "Trem Fantastma", and his great "Baby", which is done fantastically here. Great stuff all 'round! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
