Harmony soul, retooled for the discos – as most of the tracks on this self-produced set feature strident grooves that must have been aimed at the clubs. The sound's pretty good overall, though, thanks to some great vocals. Luther Vandross is listed in the vocal credits – although we don't have any idea how much of the singing he actually participated in – and there's definitely a Luther-like approach to the best tracks. Titles include "Move On Up", "Take A Chance, Dance", "Get In Touch", "Celebrate", "Children Of The Discos", and "Just Because I'm Yours". (Includes the original inner sleeve. Cover has a light stain along the bottom 2 inches, with an unglued seam, and some marker on front.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
