A funky stunner from the legendary Carl Sherlock Holmes – one of those tunes that first inspired us to go digging for funky 45s many many years ago! "Investigation" is an instrumental killer all the way through – razor-ripping guitar lines that set in right with the groove, right from the start – then tight horns on the top, and a sweet percussion bit in the middle – along with plenty of organ, which really cooks up the tune!
