2 wonderful grooves from Jorge Ben – both offered up here in remix form! "Sou Da Pesada" is a midtempo flurry of acoustic percussion with some really odd touches, bits of acoustic guitar, and those warmly raspy vocals we love in Ben's early work so much! "A Joven Samba" is one of our favorite Ben tunes from the 60s – and it gets a really different remake here from Klasick – electrified heavily with a skittish beat on the bottom, some extra vibes that sneak in slowly, and a weirdly flanged-out take on Jorge's vocals! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
