Thai Funk ZudRangMa Vol 1 (special edition)Various
LP (Item 591965) Light In The Attic, 1970s — Condition: New Copy
A very weird little collection - done with a wonderful packaging job that includes a hand-stitched bag, and a download card for bonus tracks! The music here is supposedly all from the Thai scene – and is often as funky as the title would imply, and with some disco too – all in ways that are quite different than the usual – often a very odd, offbeat take on familiar funky modes – filtered through rough production, unfamiliar instrumentation, and different linguistic modes – all of which keeps things plenty interesting throughout! Titles include "Pu Yai Lee" by Louis Kennedy, "Luk Ron" by Meesak Nakaratch, "5000 Nut" by Panadda Chayapark, "Chown Thur Ten Rum" by Pranee Thanasri, "Disco Tour" by Nakplang Krumlowna, "Arai Arai Kor Disco" by Champoo, "Sa Ra Wan" by Chantana Kittiyapan, and "Nam Man Pang" by Sroeng Santi. (Limited vinyl edition of the ZudRangMa Records anthology. Hand stitched cloth outer sleeve.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
