Fat Man & Little Boy (expanded 2CD version)
CD (Item 596311) Paramount/La La Land, 1989 — Condition: New Copy
The title may be a bit unglamorous, but the music is right up there with some of Ennio Morricone's best Hollywood scores of the time! The tunes are a mix of the usual charm we love in the maestro's music – those haunting, almost floating themes – plus a bit more action-oriented elements too – used sparingly, and often quickly offset by mellower moments to remind us that more than anything, we're in Morricone territory, no matter what the subject of the film! This massive 2CD version of the score features a huge amount of music – 20 tracks from the original film soundtrack, plus 9 more source cues, and 10 more alternate versions – a whopping 39 tracks in all! (Limited edition of 3000 copies.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
