Apollo – Atmospheres & Soundtracks
LP (Item 379140) EG, 1983 — Condition: Used
A later ambient LP from Eno, with help from his brother pianist Roger Eno, and Daniel Lanois, with whom he'd collaborate a fair bit in the later part of his career. The music was originally composed to accompany a documentary film about the Apollo space flights, and like the best ambient Eno work, is engaging but can easily fall into the background, with lush, quasi-electronic textures. With the tracks "Under Stars", "The Secret Place", "Matta", "Signals", "An Ending (Ascent)", "Under Stars II", "Drift", "Silver Morning", "Deep Blue Day", "Weightless", "Always Returning" and "Stars". (Cover has small initials in marker on front.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
