A later ambient LP from Eno, with help from his brother pianist Roger Eno, and Daniel Lanois, with whom he'd collaborate a fair bit in the later part of his career. The music was originally composed to accompany a documentary film about the Apollo space flights, and like the best ambient Eno work, is engaging but can easily fall into the background, with lush, quasi-electronic textures. With the tracks "Under Stars", "The Secret Place", "Matta", "Signals", "An Ending (Ascent)", "Under Stars II", "Drift", "Silver Morning", "Deep Blue Day", "Weightless", "Always Returning" and "Stars".  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Atco/EG, 1975. Very Good
Quite possibly the biggest early moment of US fame for Roxy Music – thanks to the classic "Love Is The Drug", which kicks off the album and is easily one of the group's best-known tunes of the 70s! The album tightens things up slightly from the sound of Country Life before – ... LP, Vinyl record album

A&M, 1967. Sealed
A standout set from the songwriting team who provided plenty of greatness for The Monkees – but who sound equally great on their own! The music here really soars nicely – tight LA pop from the late 60s, but never too overdone – and often set up with a jaunty groove that's a ... LP, Vinyl record album

Red, 1973. Sealed
The band's first album – and probably still their best. Recorded in 1973, with a young experimental Fred Frith firmly in place. The group also includes Chris Cutler, Tim Hodgkinson, John Greaves, and Geoff Leigh – and titles include "Nirvana For Mice", "Teenbeat", ... LP, Vinyl record album

RCA, 1968. Sealed
The Equals were a mixed race rock group out of the UK during the late 60s, and although they're probably best remembered for their hit "Baby, Come Back", this full album also has them playing a number of cuts that have a deep, soulful, bass-heavy groove that goes way beyond their big ... Holland
Brother/Warner, 1972. Very Good
A great early 70s entry from The Beach Boys – and a record that's nicely balanced between mature pop tunes and more experimental moments! The set kicks off with the sublime "Sail On Sailor" – a tightly compressed, wonderfully catchy number that's easily one of the group's ... LP, Vinyl record album
