Great Brit bop grooving – from the two-sax group co-led by Kathy Stobart and Joe Temperley! We've heard Joe before, but this is the first time we've ever caught Kathy on record – at least that we know of – and the pair work together surprisingly well – thanks to some tight rhythm section work from Mike Pyne on piano, Dave Olney on bass, and Tony Mann on drums – a trio who swing older standards in just the right sort of easygoing modes for the reeds to really open up!
