Don't Press Your Luck – The In Sound Of 60s ConnecticutVarious
CD (Item 471037) Sundazed, Mid/Late 60s — Condition: New Copy
One of coolest collections of obscure 60s garage rock we've heard in ages – from the the early daze vaults of Connecticut's Trod Nossel studios – who knew CT was so fierce!?! The state of Connecticut in reality had a pretty fertile r&b fueled, proto punk garage rock scene – and Trod Nossel was ground zero – having produced loads of fiery singles by groups like the Shags, the Lively Ones, Wildweeds and many others – under producer/engineer Doc Cavalier. This set has some groovy melodic gems and storming blasts alike – whether their driven by organ washes or searing guitars! Includes "I Can Only Give You Everything" and a cover of "I Can't Explain" by Bram Rigg Set, "Don't Press Your Luck", "Hideaway" and more by Shags, "Help Me" by George's Boys, "Sleepless Nights" by Ravens, "You're Cutting Out" by Fourth Ryke, "I've Paid My Dues" by Bearies, "Nothing Remains" by Uranus And The Five Moons and more! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
