Grooviness abounds! This set's a wonderful batch of obscure French pop tunes – all with a hard Go-Go groove, the kind of fab late 60s sound that you'll rarely find documented well in the world of reissues. The album's one of our favorite collections of groovy French tunes – and it's got an excellent blend of slightly funky styles that feature lots of work on fuzzed-out guitars, organ, and heavy bass – the sorts of ultra-hip sounds you might always dig for on French records, yet never find together in one place as great as this!
