Nice mellow sampler of tracks from Jobim's lovely years at A&M! The albums were recorded as part of A&M's early relationship with CTI – and they feature a great set of arrangements that has Jobim on guitar or piano, backed by some beautifully full warm jazzy orchestrations. These tracks aren't that easy to find on vinyl these days – and titles include "Tema Jazz", "Mojave", "Lamento", "Wave", and "Rockanalia". (Cover has light wear.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Pretty great stuff from Jobim – later than the classic years, but with a dark sophisticated sound that's pretty darn compelling. The album features larger orchestrations by Claus Ogerman, and in a way, it's similar to the Jobim album on Decca from 1973 – in that it's got all the simple ... LP, Vinyl record album
