Girl From Ipanema
LP (Item 25511) A&M/MFP (UK), Late 60s — Condition: Used
Nice mellow sampler of tracks from Jobim's lovely years at A&M! The albums were recorded as part of A&M's early relationship with CTI – and they feature a great set of arrangements that has Jobim on guitar or piano, backed by some beautifully full warm jazzy orchestrations. These tracks aren't that easy to find on vinyl these days – and titles include "Tema Jazz", "Mojave", "Lamento", "Wave", and "Rockanalia". (Cover has remnants of sticker, some aging, and unglued top and bottom seams.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
