Let's Get Serious

CD (Item 626937) Motown (Japan), 1980 — Condition: New Copy

Sweet solo grooves from Jermaine Jackson – and a record that shows he was one of the brothers who really had something to offer on the solo tip! The album's got a bouncy, ebullient groove right from the start – upbeat and positive, and really coming off the best Jackson's tip of the late 70s years – yet focused more strongly into Jermaine's solid lead. As a result, the album's got some stellar midtempo numbers that glow with an unexpected degree of warmth – partly due to some help on production from Stevie Wonder. Titles include "Let's Get Serious", "Where Are You Now", "You Got To Hurry Girl", "Your Supposed To Keep Your Love For Me" and "Feelin' Free". (SHMCD pressing.)  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
