Pimples & Braces/The Hully
7-inch (Item 614276) Jazzman (UK), Late 50s — Condition: New Copy
Rocking guitar and plenty of congas – all to set the scene for the tenor-heavy groove of "Pimples & Braces" – one of the coolest, weirdest tunes of the time we've ever heard! There's almost no voices – but as the tune pauses, a voice comes in that sounds like a radio DJ, and says things like "pimples and braces", "bongos and burgers", and other odd phrases! Tenorman Joe Houston takes over on "The Hully" – a tune that struts hard with lots of guitar in the rhythms, and a searing, burning sax line from Joe on the top! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
