Take A Look At Those Cakes
LP (Item 28667) Polydor, 1978 — Condition: Used
The cover says it all: a painting of James, kicking back on a couch with a disco Godfather outfit on, while two topless girls dance in front of him – clearly, the old days are past! Still, despite this trashy effort to be a clubtime player, James still manages to funk things up a bit – even if the songs go on a bit too long, with less of the improvised instrumentation of the old days. Titles include "For Goodness Sakes, Take A Looke At Those Cakes", "Someone To Talk To", "A Man Understands", and "As Long As I Love You". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
