A great score for an incredible film! Teorema is a strange and wonderful early film by Pier Paolo Pasolini – and about half of the soundtrack was written by Ennio Morricone, in a mixture of dark, edgey themes, and some more groovy tunes with a great late 60s Italy feel – an early moment of genius for the maestro, augmented by some Mozart numbers that further complicate the soundtrack! The groovier material includes the beat-heavy "Fruscio Di Foglie Verdi", the bouncing wordless vocal "L'Ultima Corrida", and the jangly guitar instrumental "Beat No 3" – and other tunes include "Teorema", "Frammenti", and the "Messa Da Requiem" by WA Mozart, which is also used in the film – to very haunting effect!  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Fantastic! Easy Tempo scores again with this beautiful rerelease/repackaging of Gianni Ferrio's lost score for the film Una Farfalla Con Le Ali Insanguinate. A lost soundtrack as brilliant as we hoped it'd be when we were first hipped to its existence – made for the late 60s German erotica production Kamasutra – Consummation Of Love from composer Irmin Schmidt and Inner Space, the group that was soon to be Can! It’s a really ... LP, Vinyl record album

A funky classic from Galt MacDermot! The record is Galt's score for the blacksploitation film that starred Godfrey Cambridge and Raymond St Jacques – and it's a mix of vocal and instrumental tunes that takes off from the sound of his late 60s work. Melba Moore sings on a few cuts – ... LP, Vinyl record album

Striking sounds from Michel Magne – an artist who's best known for his groovy soundtracks of the 60s – but who steps out here with a rare experimental set from the late 50s! A totally cool score from Philippe D'Aram – one that's heavy on electronics, amidst the usual horror movie moods – which gives the music a cold, stark feel that's really amazing – incredibly spooky at points, and nice and spacey at others!
