Motherless Child (double A side)
7-inch (Item 618346) Jude/Tramp (Germany), Early 70s — Condition: New Copy
The rare early 70s funky treasure by Harmonica Paul! You might think from his name that Harmonica Paul would be more of a blues figure, but this here gem is a nicely simmering funky soul tune. The groove is raw, but absolutely killer – with Harmonica Paul singing and playing guitar – and never picking up a harmonica. His guitar grooves along nicely with the funky drums for most of the track, and switches to more of a wah wah sound later on into it , for an invigorating little twist. An amazing tune! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
