One of the rarest albums ever from soundtrack maestro Peter Thomas – and one of the funkiest, too! The set's not a film score – like most of Thomas' other material – but a German sound library set, originally issued only in very small quantities – and featuring some of Peter's wildest music of the 70s! All the best sci-fi funk touches from before are firmly in place – those sounds you love from his Raumpatroulle and Chariots Of The Gods soundtracks – and instrumentation mixes up a nice blend of acoustic and electric sources, with some wicked studio production tricks too. There's a bit of wordless vocals at times – kind of a cool spacey chorus – but most sounds are instrumental, and titles include "Katachi", "Flash Point", "Rockin Computer", "Power Boost", "Under Control", and "Hedono".  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Diamonds
Cinephile/Castle (UK), 1975. New Copy Gatefold (reissue)
Heist films always provided some of the best soundtracks of the 70's, and this one (starring Robert Shaw and Richard Roundtree, and issued in the US as Diamond Shaft) is no exception! Roy Budd rises to the groovy occasion and scores some excellent moments that match a light orchestral sound with a ... LP, Vinyl record album

Cotton Comes To Harlem
United Artists, 1972. New Copy (reissue)
A funky classic from Galt MacDermot! The record is Galt's score for the blacksploitation film that starred Godfrey Cambridge and Raymond St Jacques – and it's a mix of vocal and instrumental tunes that takes off from the sound of his late 60s work. Melba Moore sings on a few cuts – ... LP, Vinyl record album

House Of The Devil
Death Waltz (UK), 2009/2014. New Copy (reissue)
The masterfully eerie original soundtrack to Ti West's House Of The Devil – a late 00s movie that's a pretty great riff take on the suspenseful occult thrillers of the late 60s and early 70s – and Jeff Grace's score is pretty close to perfect! Much like the film, the soundtrack builds ... LP, Vinyl record album
