Rare 80s groove at its finest – served up by the excellent Paradise – an obscure group, but one who rival the best bigger acts of the time! These guys have a totally tight, totally right-on-the money sound – working with funky rhythms that are filled with jazzy changes – especially on the keyboards and guitar – and this great blend of lead with higher harmonies – all of which really helps the record soar to the skies from the very first note! Tunes are uptempo, but never in a way that's corny or cliched – and instead, these guys have a rare way of bridging righteous soul and dancefloor modes – at a level that only a few groups, like Earth Wind & Fire, could do this well.
