Oddly this compilation of late 80s California rap has MC Eiht and Mike T of CMW on the cover, but they're not featured. Still not a bad selection of west coast numbers from that time, including the LA version of the 2 Live Crew, pre-Luke, performing "What I Like". 10 tracks in all, including "Better Bring A Gun" and "Payback's A Mother" by King Tee, "All About Money" by Kool Rock Jay & DJ Slice, "6 In The Morning" by Ice T, "My Posse" by Ice Cube, "Underwater Rimes" by Digital Underground, "Ny Rapper" by Bobby Jimmy and "This Beat Be Smooth" and "Do You Wanna Go To The Liquor Store" by Toddy Tee & Mixmaster Spade. (Cover has a cutout hole.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Take A Look Around
Cold Chillin, 1990. Near Mint-
His first and best LP from the days when being hardcore and/or sullen was not the first requirement for being an MC. Perfect mid-tempo production by Marly Marl. With Ace's impersonation of Biz Markie on "Me & The Biz", plus "Letter To The Better", "I Got Ta", ... LP, Vinyl record album
