A pretty great little package – and one that really brings together both sides of the Soundway label's music! The core sounds here were recorded in Ghana, and set to wax in London – often with these skittish contemporary rhythms that work surprisingly well for the rootsy vocals and classic instrumentation – all coming together in ways that have the same criss-crossing of styles that you'd hear in some of Tony Allen's recent projects. The package features two 12" singles, but almost has enough material to be a full album in itself – with cuts that include "Friday Night", "Auntie Fatty", "Yagga Skank", "1995", "Floor Excitement", "Floor Excitement VIP", and "Autie Fatty (drum talk rmx)".
