Novels For The Moons (180 gram yellow vinyl pressing)
LP (Item 603138) Lamborghini/Medical, 1983 — Condition: New Copy
Rare electronic work from the early 80s – and a record that was initially issued on a small label owned by the Lamborghini car company! Axxess is really just synth artist Patrick Mimran – who plays a host of 70s keyboards here, in ways that are kind of shortened, condensed, more focused approach to the instruments than German work of a decade before – definitely inspired by the Conny Plank generation, but a lot more lean overall! The sound's still nice and spare, and light years from electro pop – a really cool blend that's just one more aspect of this unique record. Titles include "Duck Soup", "Flying Rabbi", "Sad Blue Sand II", "Kissing The Desert Ghost", "When The Lips Fly High", "Griffin's Disaster", and "Masha". (Limited to 1000 hand numbered copies – with insert too!) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
