The Boss has been tearing it up for years now with a blend of organ heavy grooves, funky drums, vamping guitars and even some occasional vocals – and Full English Beat Breakfast is as loveable as anything they've done to date. There's been a bunch of excellent new classic funk combos that have cropped up in the aughties, but Big Boss Man stands out for the ripping mod r&b and touches of Northern soul they bring to the plate.
