A Historia de Vicente Silva/Escorregando/Tema/Como os Avioes
7-inch (Item 595771) Rozenblit/Mr Bongo (UK), 1979 — Condition: New Copy
A rare Brazilian EP from the end of the 70s – and music that's got a timeless quality that's quite different than anything you might expect! There's a really laidback, almost folksy feel to the set – similar to Rozenblit records from the earlier part of the decade – that unique scene in Brazil that mixed together regional styles and rock, often with results that forged a whole new territory in sound! The leadoff track – "A Historia De Vincente Silva" – is especially nice, with flowing flute lines and spare percussion – then leading into a playful instrumental, "Escorregando", and two more rock-based tunes – "Tema" and "Como Os Avioes". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
