Fantastic dreamy pop! Despite the fact that this one yielded the super-huge hits "Windy" and "Never My Love", the album's also filled with great 60s pop tunes that you've probably never heard before – all as fantastically well-crafted and delicately strung-out as the big hits. The Association were truly one of the greatest 60s pop harmony groups to come out of the LA scene – and even a big hit album like this is the kind of gem that you'd spend years digging through rare vinyl to hope to find! Other titles include "Happiness Is", "On A Quiet Night", "We Love Us", "Reputation", and "Requiem For The Masses". (Gold label pressing. Cover has wear, some aging, a bit of splitting on the bottom seam, and some marker in one corner.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Renaissance
Warner, 1966. Very Good+
An aptly-titled album, as it sprung the genius of The Association fully onto the world – and forever changed the rules for dreamy vocal pop music! The album's a wonderful blend of sweet harmonies, LA production, and the kind of slightly-trippy song stylings you already know from The ... LP, Vinyl record album

12 x 5
London, Mid 60s. Very Good
Essentially early Stones! 12 X 5 is The Rolling Stones at a very early, hard grooving peak, way back in '64. It's ground breaking stuff, in they they truly pave the way for so much of the soul, blues and R&B loving Anglos to come out of the Brit and US scenes in the months and years to come. ... Led Zeppelin IV
Atlantic, 1971. Very Good Gatefold
Hard rock perfected! It's around Led Zeppelin IV you can easily say that the group moved up from being incredibly great to flat-out legendary. On IV, they do a bit of what the did on each of the three preceding albums, but rather than starting to repeat themselves, they get better! Amazing. ... LP, Vinyl record album
