Who's Foolin Who

A classic from One Way – who're still going strong in the early 80s! The group's ace in the hole was always the great work of Al Hudson – a fearless leader who kept things funky, and who wrote in some great hooks to tracks that give them uncommon strength. Case in point is the classic "Cutie Pie", which is the leadoff track here – with a funky bassline would be right at home on George Clinton's Computer Games – but it really takes flight thanks to One Way's deeper-sinking hook. The album is among their bigger hits of the period – but it's also proof that they were still going strong creatively, too. No foolin'!
