Glimpses of Truth/Eastern Moods
7-inch (Item 500249) Tramp (Germany), Late 70s — Condition: New Copy
Rare spiritual jazz – issued here for the first time ever on a 7" single! "Glimpses Of Truth" has a bold ensemble feel – almost like a lost Strata East number, with a massive bassline grounding the whole groove wonderfully, some righteous female vocals in the middle, and full horn work that carves out a really soulful sound! "Eastern Mood" is nice too – a cut that kind of rolls in from out of nowhere, with piano and vocals dancing around in a nicely tangled-up groove with great breezy overtones! (Limited edition of 500 copies.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
