Tune Up
LP (Item 58729) Prestige, 1953/1954 — Condition: Used
Excellent 2 LP compilation, put together and remastered in the late 70s, of sides cut by Miles for the Prestige label. There's some remarkable performances from some of his greatest LPs from that early period, like Bags' Groove, when Miles was still playing smoldering bop and his sidemen include Max Roach, Lucky Thompson, Sonny Rollins, Monk and Kenny Clarke. 13 tracks in all: "Tune Up", "Solar", "Walkin", "Blue N Boogie", "Bag's Groove", "When Lights Are Low", "Four", "Old Devil Moon", "You Don't Know What Love Is", "Love Me Or Leave Me", "I'll Remember April", "But Not For Me" and "The Man I Love". (Cover has some wear, with a name in pen on the back.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
