Some of THE greatest Christmas music of all time -- and a record that really helped define the Holiday genre for the full length LP! At the time of the set, David Seville and his Chipmunks were almost just a one-off novelty act for 50s AM radio -- but this album forever cemented their place in the musical history books -- not to mention around the Christmas tree! The gimmick is simple, but effective -- as Seville uses sped up tape to create the sound of singing cartoony chipmunks -- deconstructing Holiday tunes along the way with a variety of gags, tricks, and mischief. Seville himself plays host to the set, often getting in fights with Chipmunk Alvin -- which is some of the biggest charm of the recordings.
