If you've ever wondered why Maze cut so many live albums in their career, listen to this one and wonder no further. This great live set recorded in LA is filled with the kind of tight, yet mellow soul grooves that made the group huge in the late 70's and early 80's. The live performances add new life to older favorites, and they open up the songs a bit more than other live albums by contemporary soul performers. With (of course) "Joy And Pain", plus "Running Away", "Happy Feelings", "We Are One", and "I Wanna Be With You". (Includes the printed inner sleeves. Cover has some light wear.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Atlantic, 1972. Very Good-
Wicked electric funk from Young Holt Unlimited – and a real departure from the sound of their 60s albums, and a step into a groove that's very 70s-styled overall! The album's heavy on Fender Rhodes – played not just by group member Ken Chaney, but also by a young Bobby Lyle – ... LP, Vinyl record album
