Oscar Castro-Neves – Live At The Blue Note Tokyo

CD (Item 596190) Zoho, 2009 — Condition: New Copy

A beautiful live album from Oscar Castro-Neves – done with all the warmth and soul of his classics from many years back! The group here is a cool small combo, with a nice emphasis on jazz – mixed in amidst the familiar bossa grooves we've come to expect from Oscar! Group members include Airto on percussion, Leila Pinheiro on vocals, and Marco Bosco on percussion – all artists whose depth of skills and experience almost match that of Castro-Neves – really great partners for an enterprise such as this. Titles include "Manha De Carnaval", "Ela E Carioca", "Pontieo", "My Sweet Sweetpie", "Rio", "Waters Of March", "Tatiando", "Rio Dawning", and "Canto De Ossanha" – plus the bonus track "Deixa".  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
