Allan Sherman Live – Hoping You Are The Same
CD (Item 530787) Warner/Collectors Choice, 1966 — Condition: New Copy
A groovy little album from Allan Sherman – his first actual live album for Warner Brothers – in contrast to his earlier "live in studio" affairs! The set has Allan still at the top of his wit – working thorugh some great song parodies, and some other cool 60s humorous ditties – a few of which kind of show Sherman's style aging a bit with the times, but in way that only makes the record an even greater relic of its time. Titles include "A Waste Of Money", "Taking Lessons", "Sorry Bout That", "Smog Gets In Your Eyes", "Son Of Peyton Place", and "Second Hand Nose". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
