Nick DeCaro Works
CD (Item 602028) A&M (Japan), Late 60s/Early 70s — Condition: New Copy
A sublime collection of key classics from the legendary Nick DeCaro – an artist who worked more in the background than as a lead act himself, but one who had an undeniable influence on the sound of pop in the 60s and 70s! Nick's got a great way of compressing together a groove – and his work at A&M records as arranger, producer, and even songwriter really helped some of their artists sound their best – hitting heights at the label they never would have reached otherwise! This package is the first we've really seen to pay tribute to the full range of DeCaro's genius – and it brings together some key classics from Nick, plus other tracks you might not have known included his help – with cuts that include "Hurting Each Other" by Ruby & The Romantics, "Keeper Of The Keys" by Brewer & Shipley, "The Drifter" by Harpers Bizarre, "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" by Andy Williams, "Going Round One More Time" by Livingston Taylor, "Chances Are" by Ben Sidran, "Love Song Love Song" by Roger Nichols Trio, "To Put Up With You" by The Sandpipers, "Love Is Here To Stay" by Chris Montez, "I Love How You Love Me" by Claudine Longet, "The Woman On Your Arm" by Randy Edelman, "But Love Me" by BJ Thomas, "Flyin High" by Julius Wechter & Baja Marimba Band, "Roselle" by Seemon & Marijke – and "Under The Jamaican Moon" and "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" by Nick DeCaro himself! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
