Get set for another walk in the Black Forest – thanks to a pair of tinkling piano classics from Horst Jankowski! First up is My Fair Lady – Horst Jankowski's take on the famous show score, and one that's really recast nicely in his own image! The arrangements are completely fresh, and very original – often quite upbeat and peppy, and inflected with all sorts of little twists and turns that perfectly illustrate the way that Horst and other German groovers were changing the sound of easy in the 60s! There's a bit of organ mixed in with the piano, and the Jankowski Singers are along for the ride on some tracks too – and titles include "Show Me", "With A Little Bit Of Luck", "Embassy Bossa Nova", "On The Street Where You Live", "Without You", and "The Rain In Spain". Bravo Jankowski is a classic from the early years of Horst Jankowski – and a set that's maybe got a bit more sweet in the mix than some of his other hits – served up with a distinctly German approach to the tunes!
