Yesterday I Saw You Kissing Tiny Flowers
CD (Item 464881) 4 Zero (UK), 2007 -- Condition: New Copy
Mushroom's working here with vocalist Alison Faith Levy -- a singer who really helps the group find some new space, and who also brings in a slightly folksy focus to their heavier jams! The core Mushroom sound is still very much intact -- with tripped-out guitars, offbeat reeds, and keyboards that include Fender Rhodes, celeste, and moog -- all wrapped up with a heady, psychedelic edge -- free-flowing at points, but always respectful of Alison's place on the lyrics. Titles include a great cover of David Bowie's "The Sun Machine Is Coming Down & We're Gonna Have A Party", plus "Electric Muse", "Josh Pollock", "Clay Allison", "Gas Grass Or Ass Nobody Rides For Free", and "Ocean Beach". (Limited to 1000 copies.) © 1996-2009, Dusty Groove America, Inc. | |||||
