Tighten Up/Voodoo Doll
7-inch (Item 74220) Kay Dee, 2004 — Condition: New Copy
Two funk bombs from Australia's Bamboos! The group's moddish take on Billy Butler's "Tighten Up" honestly couldn't be any tighter – kicking off with some of the fastest, funkiest trap work we've heard on a recent single, before settling into a groove with punchy electric guitar work, organ, sax and wonderfully funky flute line! "Voodoo Doll" is a slower number with a fat bass line, and loosely propulsive drums and guitar that leave lots of room for the funky organ work. © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
