The first volume in the cut and paste series Big Apple Productions, produced by Mikey D'Merola though the labels credit Peter Duff and mixing and arranging by Ser & Duff. It's a mix, cut and edit of everything from first school hip hop to 70s soul and funk and 80s groove sound bites. A nice snapshot of early 80s template production style that would soon be part of the backbone of hip hop production technique, with a nice rough and raw approach to the sound.
