CD (Item 608467) OMM/Made In Germany (Germany), 1972 — Condition: New Copy
One of the better early 70s Ash Ra Tempel albums – in which Klaus Schulze joins in once again – really riveting stuff from the pioneering German group! The album features a pair of long suites, one just shy of 20 minutes and the other a bit longer: "Freak 'N' Roll" and "Jenseits". The former is, well, an epic rock freakout – starting off strongly with lumbering percussion and a steady rhythm before it builds up steam and blasts off with some incredible guitar, bass and spacey synth and keys. The latter is a much dreamier piece, with minimalist, kind of droning keys by Schulze and spoken vocals by Rosi. © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
