Fantastic! This is Yma Sumac's rock album from the early 70s – and it's got a wild sound that's totally different from any of her work at Capitol! The record includes lots of electric instrumentation, and Yma's voice moves from the exotic to the psychedelic, as she sings along with some great organ/guitar small group backing produced by Les Baxter. Sounds weird at first, but it's great, and almost a bit funky! Titles include "Zebra", "El Condor Pasa", "Tree Of Life", "Flame Tree", "Looke Around", and "Let Me Hear You". This Omni CD version includes 3 previously unreleased bonus tracks: "Savage Rock" (plus an alternate version) and "Parade".  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Two of the grooviest Si Zentner albums of the 60s – both of them great, but in very different ways! More is Si's attempt to follow up on the Italian soundtrack hit of the time – but the album also features loads of other great tracks from the time, done as very jazzy instrumentals by ... CD

Io E Mara
Easy Tempo (Italy), 1969. New Copy
Wild! Another beautiful release in the Easy Tempo series of lost Italian music from the late 60's and early 70's. This one's a haunting moody set of tracks that mix percussion, electric bass, organ, and a wordless female voice in a haunting soundscape of sexy tracks with a totally unique feel. ... CD
