Eu E A Brisa – Serie Grandes Sucesso
CD (Item 604707) EMI (Brazil), Mid 70s — Condition: New Copy
A great collection of work that's mostly from the compelling second chapter of the career of Johnny Alf – his 70s recordings for EMI, where he'd reinvented himself as a more mature singer and keyboardist! There's still plenty of elements from Alf's bossa roots in the mix, but the sound is often more complex too – kind of the same shift that Joao Donato made at the time, also at EMI – and with a similar style that really draws on the rich sounds of the maturing singer. Alf's nicely mellow throughout, and his electric piano lines sound great – and titles include "Rapaz De Bem", "Nao Deixe A Zorra Morrer", "Um Gosto De Fim", "Despedida De Mangueira", "Olhos Negros", "Ilusao A Toa", "Saudacoes", "O Que E Amar", "So Nos Dois", "Nos", and "Quem Sou Eu". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
