Psychedelic Jazz & Soul 2 – More Psychedelic Jazz & Soul From The Atlantic & Warner VaultsVarious
CD (Item 355779) WEA (UK), Late 60s/Early 70s — Condition: New Copy
Tripped out grooves from one of our favorite musical eras – that end of the 60s time when people were letting their hair down, opening up their styles, and really creating some crazy work! As the title would imply, the collection's filled with mind-expanding jazz and soul tunes – often electric, and with subtle funky touches that go way past the obvious in search of groove-driven Nirvana! The assortment of artists is great – with killer cuts from bigger names, and some surprising gems from others that we wouldn't have thought of – all packaged with a great cover and tasty notes on the tunes. Titles include "Land Of 1000 Dances" by Nino & April, "Mortgage On My Soul" by Keith Jarrett, "Live Right Now" and "Lonely Is Today" by Eddie Harris, "Hang Em Up" by Freddie Hubbard, "It Ain't What You Do" by J Geils Band, "Chica Boom" by Jimmy & Vella, "Hideaway" by Freddie King, and "The Brain Of Oskar Panizza" by Michael Bundt. © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
