One of a set of legendary recordings done by Ind in the 50s – back at a time when he was the bass player in Lee Konitz group, but also a budding young sound engineer, with a good ear for a jazz session! The tunes feature Mosca and Ind in piano/bass duets – recorded live in New York with a very open and swinging feel. Titles include "Brightwater", "Sal's Line", "Groovin High", "Upwelling", and "Background Music".  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

An essential bit of jazz funk from Donald Byrd and Larry Mizell! Kelly At Midnite
Vee Jay, 1960. Poor
Midnite is right – as the session's a moody, mellow late nite one – just spare trio material by Wynton, played in a group that features Paul Chambers on bass and Philly Joe Jones on drums! The titles are all nice and long – and really let Kelly stretch out on the keys – ... LP, Vinyl record album

Crazy! Baby
Blue Note, 1960. Good+
One of Jimmy's most classic albums for Blue Note – and a key example of why his solo skills on the organ surpassed most of his contemporaries!
