Hard Time Pressure
LP (Item 582262) 17 North Parade, Late 70s/1980s — Condition: New Copy
A deep collection of the Black Roots recordings of Sugar Minott – concentrating largely on the great stuff he produced from the late 70s onward, after he left Studio One to set up his own Black Roots and Youth Productions labels! It's great stuff, particularly in the earlier years, which found him working nicely in the lover's rock style as well as plenty of stellar dancehall. Lots of excellent material here, much of it self-produced – plus some classic numbers produced by Niney, Sly & Robbie and others. Includes "My Love Is True", "Hard Time Pressure", "River Jordan", "Never Gonna Give Jah Up", "Good Thing Going", "International Herb", "All Kinda People", "Informer", "Feel The Rydim" and "Rub A Dub Sound". 10 tracks on the vinyl version. © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
