Very groovy work from Peggy – a set of tunes tone with a nice little Latin flair! The tunes themselves are all Broadway hits of the late 50s and early 60s, but they're redone wonderfully here – so that they often bear little resemblance to the originals. Jack Marshall handled the arrangements with a swinging and jazzy sound – really throwing in some tight syncopated rhythms to make the album crackle more than most of Peggy's other work from the time. Titles include "Hey There", "I Am In Love", "Heart", "On The Street Where You Live", "The Party's Over", "Dance Only With Me", and "I Enjoy Being A Girl". (Rainbow label pressing. Cover has light wear.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

A nice early one by Nancy, and a record that shows her roots as a jazz singer, by pairing her lovely voice with swinging arrangements by Billy May. The tracks are mostly standards, but Nancy gives them a nice 60s pop twist, and keeps things nice and sexy with her sultry voice. Titles include ... LP, Vinyl record album

Rare US issue of this amazing album by the legendary French vocal group Les Double Six. The group included a core of the early Swingle Singers, and featured members Ward Swingle and Christine Legrand, two of France's best jazz vocalists at the time. On this LP, the group runs through a tightly ... LP, Vinyl record album

The album that put Nancy over the top – and one with lots of stellar Lee Hazlewood writing and production, and cuts like "I Move Around", "So Long, Babe", "Flowers On The Wall", and the title cut. Nice liner notes, too – with a conversation in which Nancy ... LP, Vinyl record album
