Samba Para Ti
LP (Item 80939) Deja Vu (Italy), Early 70s — Condition: New Copy
Sweet Brazilian grooves from Italy – with a very easy approach! The feel here is somewhere in the mode of Sergio Mendes, and somewhere in the vein of the European take on bossa in the late 60s – done with a bit of an easy listening style, and sweeter orchestrations than you might hear on the original Brazilian versions – but still in a nice soundtrack-y mode overall! The best tunes have moody floating female vocals by Edda Dell'Orso, who worked on some of Morricone's best soundtracks – and Edda's sound is what really makes the album come together! Titles include "Show Samba", "Tristeza", "Berimbau", "O Pato", "Play Sin Sol", and "C'E Piu Samba". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
