Stephan Eicher Spielt Noise Boys
CD (Item 614391) Born Bad (France), 1980 — Condition: New Copy
Great noise from Stephan Eicher – an artist you might know from warmer, cleaner pop in the 80s – but who here is working in a heady brew of electronics to rival the darkest work coming out of the Sheffield scene at the time! Most sounds come from analogue electronic sources – often with more than enough fuzz to warrant the "noise boys" in the title – as does the vocals, which are processed so much they have this really dark, moody feel too – almost just like another electronic instrument on the set! Titles include "Hungriges Afrika", "Disco Mania", "Noise Boys Song", "One Second Too Late", "Ping Pong Lied", and a nice cover of "Sweet Jane". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
