When A Woman Loves A Man
LP (Item 25440) Tower, Late 60s — Condition: Very Good-
Some very nice pop soul tracks by this lovely vocalist from the 60s! The record features a core group of backing by the Ronnie Brown trio, plus some larger arrangements by Lincoln Mayorga. The sound is nice and soulful, with a bit of a jazzy touch – in the manner of some of Nancy Wilson's work at Capitol. Includes a cover of Percy Sledge's big hit, with the gender reversed as in the title, plus the tracks "It Hurts So Bad", "Nice & Easy", "Are You Ready For A Woman", and "Till The End Of Time". (Cover has some wear, a stained corner, staining along the bottom, and paper stuck on the back along the bottom.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | ||||||
